Sticks and Stones

Sticks and Stones

When I first arrived in Canada, I was drawn to the beaches, and fascinated by the abundant driftwood to be found on them – something I’d not seen before on the beaches of North England where I lived.  I’ve also always been mesmerized by beach rocks, pebbles and cobbles – by the unending variety of colours and textures, and the way they light up when water washes over them.

As I travel, I always have an eye out for interesting driftwood forms and unique rocks and formations.  I’ve captured a few here in this special project I’ve called “Sticks and Stones”.  I hope you find the them as fascinating as I have.
